Lihiket Design & Supervision Corporation is established as public enterprise to realize the objective of the well-being of the customers through providing excels consultancy service. The Corporation is mainly established to play important roles in six pillar business units: in the fields of water resources, Transport Infrastructure, Building & Urban Planning, Land Use Planning and in other related areas. The six pillar Business Units include Irrigation & Electricity, Water Supply and Sewerage, Hydrogeology & Geo-techniques, Transport Infrastructure, Building & Urban Planning and Land Use Planning & Environmental Impact. Study and design for irrigation and drainage, water supply, sanitation & Sewerage, river training, hydropower generation, ground water investigation, Hydrogeology and Geo techniques, Transport Infrastructure, Building & Urban Planning, land use planning and environmental impact assessment and other related works are the main comprehensive range of services given to our clients in the aforementioned six Business areas.
In addition, it provides supervision and contract administration service for irrigation and drainage, water supply and sanitation, well drilling, Transport Infrastructure and Building & Urban Planning projects to improve the construction qualities and standards. The main office of the corporation is located in Bahir-dar, Amhara Region, Ethiopia. It has liaison office at Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia. The Corporation is organized in two deputy chief executive offices (Namely: Water, Irrigation and Energy deputy chief executive office and Transport Infrastructure and Building & Urban Planning Sector deputy chief executive office)፣ 8 directorates and 4 chief offices so as to enable to provide its clients a comprehensive range of services timely and with reasonable cost.
